Franna Operator

You will be responsible for… 

• Adhere to the agreed roster and present fit for work.  
• It is essential that the candidate can confidently read, comprehend, and execute work instructions, ensuring the consistent quality and reliability of all plant and equipment  
• Must be safety conscious and comply with Company and Client OH&S policies and procedures  
• Choose appropriate rigging equipment based on the weight and dimensions of components to be installed  
• Align, level and secure steel members, pipe spools and mechanical equipment as required  
• Utilize rigging lines, and pulling gear to transport or provide support for heavy equipment  
• Conduct quarterly inspections and tagging of rigging equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards  
• Maintaining a clean safe working environment  
• Assemble crawler cranes and adjust crane boom configuration if required  
• Participate and/or lead dual crane lifts  
• Establish rigging configurations in accordance with lift studies    

What we need from you: 

• Demonstrated commitment to safety  
• Experience operating cranes or Franna - Minimum 2 years 
• White Card   
• High-risk Work license - CO - CN - RI - RA 
• Pre-employment medicals including Mask fit testing (Clean Shave site) + Instant DAS 
• Australian Driver's License - current and Valid   
• Unlimited Australian Work Rights   
• Able to assist crew onsite with rigging or other duties as instructed on site
